The Seven Churches of Revelation
Did you know that the book of Revelation promises a Blessing just for reading it? In the next few days I'm going to post a few memes with verses from the Bible book of Revelation. These are good "vitamins" for the soul. In the Book of Revelation, Jesus left special instructions for 7 churches. These prophecies have multiple purposes. Originally, they really were messages for those early Churches. But they are also: 1. Descriptions of various problems that Christian Churches have, and pastors need to look out for. 2. Descriptions of various problems that Christians have in their personal faith walk, with admonitions to fix those problems. 3. Some experts believe that the 7 Churches are descriptions of successive Church ages, with the 7th prophecy (to Laodicea) describing the Church of the end times.
