Christ in Prayer for You
Jesus asked Peter, "Do you love me?"
Jesus asked his disciples, "Can't you set aside even one hour for my sake?"
The disciples let Jesus down when it came to prayer and commitment, so why do we think that our feeble acknowledgement of Christ is enough? When we stand before Christ to be evaluated; excuses will get us nowhere. We know in our hearts that we could love Jesus more than we do.
Jesus challenged his friends to love Him more and to pray more. We need to take Christ's challenge to heart. There's no time for procrastination, because procrastination is merely a way of saying, "No, I don't love Jesus." and "No, I don't have any time for Him."
2 Corinthians 6:2 says, "NOW is the acceptable time; NOW is the day of salvation." Don't procrastinate: get busy with Jesus now.
