I have been thinking about TRUTH this week and I realized one very big thing about real, solid TRUTH: it is never vicious. The kind of TRUTH that laid the foundations of the earth, and established a moral code for all of mankind is not the kind of TRUTH that destroys. God's kind of TRUTH always gives life. God's TRUTH sets people free. God's TRUTH is a beacon of light. And the fact of the matter is: most people on this planet have no clue what God's kind of TRUTH is about, and they don't much care either. As long as we continue to ignore what God wants us to learn about TRUTH, things will never get better. We will continue to go downhill as a country because we're clinging to inferior kinds of truth, and half-truths, and convenient truths that are self-serving. All those other truths will lead us to selfish, destructive paths.
