Blessings of Those who Fear God
Tuesday is the day set aside to Pray for our country, and especially for our leaders. The Bible warns us about speaking against those that God has set in authority. The rebellion that has been stirred up in America is ungodly, and people in other nations are now following our rebellious example. This is why it needs to stop: because violence is spinning off of all the anger. God's ways are higher than our ways. Prayers and blessings over our nation are more powerful than curses and anger. I encourage everyone to read their Bible. People think they know who Jesus is, but I don't think you do. He's not a hippy type of character broadcasting love and peace. Yes, Jesus does love and care about you. And the type of love that Jesus offers is also tough love: He expects each of us to do better than we have been.
